This article explains how you can arrange for a IPV6 record(s) to be added to your name server.
Although currently we don't support IPV6 DNS AAAA records on the Donhost nameservers, we can however add IPV6 records to the glue records of name servers for domains registered with Donhost.
Donhost can arrange for the record to be added to the relevant registry i.e if your name server is based on a .com domain extension then the request will be submitted to the .com registry.
Example:
A v4 address looks like this : 212.67.202.5
A v6 address will look like this : 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334

Please Note: If you need a IPV6 record added for your name server please submit a support ticket with the domain name server and the IPV6 record.
