This article provides tips and examples on how to effectively promote Donhost in order to participate in the Donhost referral scheme.

As a Donhost customer you have access to our referral scheme by default; you do not need to sign up or enrol separately. When you recommend Donhost simply request that the customer specify your account username in the Promotional Code field of our online order form, or quote your account username when they place their order over the telephone.

Linking To Us

You may link your site to ours with a special URL including your account username. Any visitor following your link will have a cookie with your username stored on their computer. Even if many months have passed since you referred them, you will be credited should that visitor open an account with us.

Notes

Credit will be applied to your account after the new customer has been with us for three months. We will not credit your account in the event that the referred customer stays with us for less than three months or if you cancel your own account before the credit has been applied.

You may not quote your own username when opening a second account with us or purchasing additional services. You may not engage in any activity regarded as spamming, objectionable or poor netiquette to promote our services. The management's decision on whether to credit you for any referral is final.
