How do I FTP to my web space?

This article explains how to configure FTP client software to connect to a Donhost FTP server.

This article applies to Shared Hosting and Reseller accounts and Dedicated Servers.


To connect to your site by FTP, you will need to configure your FTP client with the following information:

Unix Shared Hosting

FTP Host: ftp1.donhost.co.uk
Username: Your account username
Password: Your FTP account password

Windows Shared Hosting

FTP Host: ftp2.donhost.co.uk
Username: Your account username
Password: Your FTP account password

Reseller Accounts & Dedicated Servers

FTP Host: ftp.yourdomain.co.uk
Username: Your account username
Password: Your FTP account password

Please note: Using ftp.yourdomain.co.uk relies on you having already configured your name servers to the correct values for your hosting account type.
