This article explains how to transfer your third-party domain names onto your Donhost hosting account.
This article applies to Shared Hosting and Reseller accounts.
UK Domain Names (.co.uk, .org.uk .ltd.uk & .plc.uk)
To transfer a UK domain you must contact the current hosting company, and request that they amend the record for your domain name as follows:
IPS Tag: S2CONSULTING
Primary Nameserver: ns1.turbodns.co.uk (195.10.228.174)
Secondary Nameserver: ns2.turbodns.co.uk (81.21.65.135)
You will be able to manage and renew the domain name via your Donhost control panel as soon as the IPS tag has been changed.
All Other Domain Names (.com, .net, .org, .biz & .info)
To transfer any other domain onto our network, you must have its name servers updated as follows:
Primary Nameserver: ns1.turbodns.co.uk (195.10.228.174)
Secondary Nameserver: ns2.turbodns.co.uk (81.21.65.135)
This will configure the domain name to be hosted on our network. You will continue to be invoiced for all future renewals of your top level domain name by the current hosting company.
